Gamla Ullevi is the main stadium in Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden. The stadium is shared between no less than three local clubs. And as that was not enough, it is actually also the home of the Swedish Womens national team.

I stopped by on my way back to Oslo after a summer holiday. And luckily there were a match on this evening. Örgryte and Eskilstuna were set for a showdodn in Superettan, the second tier. It was actually free entrance, as it was some sort of the peoples match. On the pitch the hometeam Örgryte where never able to brake down the excellent defense of AFC Eskilstuna. Few chances and a result that was a good reflection of the game. I would certainly like to get back to Gamla Ullevi for a derby or for one of IFK ‘s bigger matches!

Back for one of the big ones. Göteborg vs Stockholm. Great atmosphere in the stands before the match. As the match progressed, and the blue and white angles dominated, it turned into a real party for the hosts. Credit to the Djurgården supporters for sticking by their side through out a tough match.
