Idrottsparken in Norrköping is an old classic football stadium with one tier on all stands. The Curva Nordahl is the mighty home of the singing supporters and named after the legend Gunnar Nordahl. Nordahl won four titles with IFK before leaving for Italy and becoming a legend also in AC Milan. A lovely walk took e across the river Motala Ström and to the southern part of the city.

There were not too many people on this match. Halmstad is not the biggest opponent and they don’t bring too many either. But a good atmosphere and you could feel the energy from the Curva Nordahl! On the pitch it was fairly even, but a sending-off for IFK just before half-time, proved costly. Halmstad started dominating after the break, and eventually they got the lead. A good cross was powerful finished off by Viktor Granath. However, IFK didn’t give up and they fought their way back in the match only to lose it in added time. Not the best day for the Peking supporters, but I reckon this is certainly a great ground on the big days!
