Kisapuisto Stadion was built for the 1952 Olympic Summer Games in Helsinki. It hosted three matches during the championship. It is the home of Lahden Reipas, the second-largest football club in the city of Lahti. I went there for third-tier match against the visitors FC LaPa. The hosts dominated from start to finish and played some really good football. On a rather cold April afternoon, they were five up at half-time. The match was done and dusted. After the break, the visitors managed to pull some goals back. But the Reipas victory was never threatened. If you visit the ground, make sure you also pay a visit to the Jari Litmanen monument. The best-ever finish player, started his career in Lahden Reipas
