Flekkerøya Idrettspark consist of two artificial pitches and are located north on the beautiful island of Flekkerøy. The main ground has a decent capacity and the main-stand sits perfect into the surrounding hill. I visited the ground in great autumn weather, for the important match against Egersund. It was a very evenly played match that was decided from the spot-kick. Egersund scored on a penalty in the first-half, while Fløy missed one after the interval. The points proved to be vital, as Egersund eventually won the league and got promoted on goal-difference! Fløy had a strong finish to the season themselves, and they secured a new season at this level.

The singing Fløy supporters Rægestimen, also has to be mentioned. They were worth the trip alone with a great variety of songs and excellent humor!
