The rain was pouring down as I made my way to the Haugesund Sparebank Arena in the center of the city of Haugesund. The stadium has undergone major renovations during the past years and is now a beautiful top-class stadium. There are stands on all four sides, three of them covered. The one without a roof is obviously designated to the away-supporters, and that made it a wet and rather unpleasant evening for the travelling Strømsgodset supporters.
Unfortunately, the bad weather and the covid situation, resulting in only about 2.000 in the stands. But the players did what they could on the pitch, and it turned out to be a pretty entertaining match. FK Haugesund looked in control for most of the match. But the visitors came back strong and, in the end, Strømsgodset was rather unlucky to not get anything out of the match. For FKH it was an important bounce back after the cup defeat to minors Stord in the last match.
